Life is strange.  It always seems like there is room for improvement even when things are near perfect.  I think its hard for our generation to accept imperfection.  Unfortunately, we'll never be perfect.  So why do we keep trying?  I think its time to just give up and be happy with life.  You'll never have everything, but you'll always have enough.

I'm counting down the months until I move to Houston.  Jessica is looking for a roommate so we might be living together.  I think that would be really cool.  We get along well and are looking at living in the same part of town.  We made an agreement to do something new and different at least once a week.  I feel like I've lost a lot of the excitement in my life.  Things can get lonely out in the real world.  

I'm also excited because I'll be going to Europe for the first time this summer.  I think its something every young adult should do before they get married or have children. 

Overall, everything is going well.  I really can't complain. Hope everyone else is doing well.  I miss a lot of you guys that I haven't heard from in a while.  Drop me a line.

So I had a tough decision...

I was offered a job in Dallas for a competing company.  I didn't know what to do.  Dallas offered a new opportunity... a chance to start over... more money... BUT I felt so bad about leaving people who feel like family.  I really did feel like I would be betraying 3 or 4 people I've worked very closely with over the past year and half. 

In the end, I discussed the options with my boss and we decided my future with The Hartford could be very bright.  The Hartford really did come through for me and I appreciate it soooooo much.

I'll be back in Houston come July.  Houston will be a new start... a great start. 

Other than that, my life has been rolling along like normal.  My family is going through a hard time, but I try not to let it affect me too much.  I have great friends who remind me how lucky I am.  I try to remind those around me how lucky they are also.
